Lost Aup Files

Accidentally deleted audacity files means that Homeless Maddy, which I had almost completed will have to be totally redone. The only thing that I have left is the mp3 file. I can't even find any of the flacs.

Oh well,
Will use it as an opportunity to plan proper podfic structure.
Have read now that you must be careful moving files. They suggest making a separate directory for each project and moving the entire directory together if you need to move the files. I separated the files to different locations, and when I tried to put them together I found that I had accidentally deleted the master AUP files, and all that I have left are directories of disjointed ten second sound clips in no discernable order. I don't even think that I wrote down which clips I used, but I have the original background sound clips.

It's a horrible setback, and I plan to sulk for about 24 hours before starting again.

On other news, I started posting the sequel to this work (fanfic, not podfic) on AO3.

Yeah - Some Podfic's saved

My husband helped me recover some of the files, and so without even previewing it properly, I've decided to post one of the works in progress from Homeless Maddy just so that you can get an idea why I have been crying my little eyes out. Notice, I didn't have time to fix the metadata yet, and some parts are planned to be reread. Comments appreciated.
